The Digital Gaming Championship is upon us

The Digital Gaming League is South Africa’s longest running online league. It boasts over 400 players in eight titles all competing for that final showdown at the Digital Gaming Championships at the rAge expo. 2017 Marks the 9th year VS Gaming have hosted the Digital Gaming Championships, a tournament which promotes some of South Africa’s up and coming stars giving them the opportunity to compete in a live environment for glory… and prizes.

Hearthstone

• Players that qualify:

  • The Top 4 Players from the Premier Division.

  • The Top 4 Players per group from the Championship Playoff (8 Players).

  • The Players that came 1st and 2nd per Community Shield (4 players).

  • There will be an open waiting list in case there is a Player that cannot make it.

    • Players on the waiting list will be ordered by seed from:

      • Championship Playoffs.

      • Leg 4 Division results. (You must have played in a Division in Leg 4 to qualify to be on the waiting list)

Counter Strike & Dota 2

• Teams that qualify:

  • The Top 4 Teams from the Premier Division (4 Teams)

  • The Top 4 Teams from the Championship Playoff (4 Teams)

  • The Teams that came 3rd to 6th per Community Shield (4 Teams)

  • Up to 4 Teams will be invited to the Championships. Invite selection is based on:

    • 1) Must have competed in at least one of the two Community Shield cups.

    • 2) Must have at least five players in the Teams line-up on the VS/DGL website.

    • 3) Must have confirmed their intent to participate by reserving their spot. This is done by registering for the Championship event on the VS/DGL Website.

  • There will be a open waiting list in case there is a Team that cannot make it.

    • Teams on the waiting list will be ordered by seed from:

      • Championship Playoffs.

      • Leg 4 Division results. (You must have played in a

      • Division in Leg 4 to qualify to be on the waiting list)

League of Legends
